Gellar is starring in the new CW drama "Ringer," about a young woman on the run from the mob who poses as her wealthy twin sister to try and evade them, but soon discovers that her sister has a price on her head as well.
"'Buffy' was all-encompassing; it was my life and you really need to take a break from that. But then I realized I missed the familial atmosphere," Gellar explained to "Extra's" Steve Santagati about why she's doing a TV show again. "And now having a small child, I have the best of both worlds." Gellar is referring to daughter Charlotte Grace, 20 mos., with husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.
How does she juggle motherhood and being on the show? "Don't forget, I'm playing two characters and I'm the executive producer!" She chalks it up to being able to multi-task. "You men think if we are texting on our BlackBerrys, we can't hear you. But we can."
