Zachary Quinto: I'm 'A Gay Man'

"Star Trek" actor Zachary Quinto has decided to publicly reveal he is gay in a new interview and on a personal blog post, both of which hit the web on Sunday.

Following an eight-month stint in the New York City revival of "Angels in America" (where the 34-year old played a man who abandoned his AIDS-stricken boyfriend), Zachary told New York Magazine he was left in deep contemplation regarding the play's dark themes.

PLAY IT NOW: Dish Of Salt: Zachary Quinto Gets Really ‘Freaked’ Out Over ‘American Horror Story’

"[The role was] the most challenging thing I've ever done as an actor and the most rewarding," he said of the award-winning Tony Kushner play, in an interview posted on the mag's website on Sunday. "And at the same time, as a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed."

Zachary -- who will next be seen on the big screen in the upcoming thriller, "Margin Call" -- again referenced his sexuality while discussing the tragic death of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, a gay teenager who took his own life last month after being bullied.

"And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there's a hopelessness that surrounds it, but as a human being I look at it and say 'Why? Where's this disparity coming from, and why can't we, as a culture and society, dig deeper to examine that?'" he told the mag. "We're terrified of facing ourselves."

In a personal post on ZacharyQuinto.com, the actor said Jamey's suicide prompted him to live his own life publicly.

"in light of jamey's death - it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it - is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality," he wrote. "our society needs to recognize the unstoppable momentum toward unequivocal civil equality for every gay lesbian bisexual and transgendered citizen of this country.

"i believe in the power of intention to change the landscape of our society - and it is my intention to live an authentic life of compassion and integrity and action," he continued. "jamey rodemeyer's life changed mine. and while his death only makes me wish that i had done this sooner - i am eternally grateful to him for being the catalyst for change within me."

Nick Ashford dies from throat cancer

Sadly, Jerry Leiber isn’t the only great songwriter to pass away today. Nick Ashford, who with his wife and musical partner Valerie Simpson penned some of the mightiest classics in the Motown songbook, also died Monday, of complications from throat cancer. He was 69. (Several sources insist he was 70, but he was born May 4, 1942.)

Nick Ashford, one-half of the legendary Motown songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson that penned elegant, soulful classics for the likes of Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye and funk hits for Chaka Khan and others, died Monday at age 70

Ashford is survived by his wife and two daughters. Rosenberg said there is no information yet on funeral arrangements.

Maggie Gyllenhaal

The actress is hosting the Discovery Channel's newest "CURIOSITY" episode which asks the question, "Why is sex fun?" No, seriously.

According to a press release for the show: "In this all-new CURIOSITY episode, Maggie Gyllenhaal hosts a revealing investigation into the latest scientific research of orgasms, sexual pleasure and more."

"Sexual pleasure is among the most prized, meaningful and richest experiences known to man," the release says. In addition, she studied briefly at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Her stage experience led her to acting after graduation.

New revulation HP Tablet

Harvey Norman has solved the problem of its leftover stock of HP's discontinued TouchPad tablet. The retailer giant offered a fire sale of the tablets at only $99 and within hours Harvey Norman had virtually sold out of its leftover stock.Harvey Norman stores across the country started offering the discounted TouchPad this afternoon. The retailer tipped off consumers via Twitter and within an hour gadget lovers looking for a good bargain had carted off much of the retailer's stock.A spokesman for the computer division at Harvey Norman in Broadway, Sydney said the store had nearly 200 people an hour looking for TouchPads according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

"We had basically a line up from the register to basically the back of the store ... it was an event," the spokesman said.

HP had announced last week that it was discontinuing its tablet and smartphone devices. The TouchPad's future was in doubt as retailers wondered if HP would continue to support the webOS. HP had already dropped the prices of the slow selling TouchPad to $499 and $599 before the sale.

Following the announcement that HP would no longer support the device, Harvey Norman had decided to pull the device from its shelves and offered refunds for consumers who had already brought the device.

Now that prices had dropped to below a $100, consumers are rushing to buy the heavily criticized TouchPad. HP has said today that it would support customers who had purchased the device.

"We also remain committed to the webOS platform and our goal is to ensure the platform's evolution as a robust operating system for an increasingly mobile and connected world," HP said.

"Feedback from our customers and developers has been positive and we intend to enhance the platform as we explore options for webOS in today's marketplace."

Captain America

"Captain America( The First Avenger) is the last of the big four Avengers to throw himself at the big-screen before next summer's major Marvel Studios event, and he doesn't disappoint. If you were worried about how the star-spangled superhero would translate from paneled page to live-action (especially after that '90s-movie-that-must-not-be-referenced-again), worry no more: the movie is great and absolutely worth the wait.

After the jump, check out five reasons why you need to catch "The First Avenger" this weekend!

As if this wasn't already a given before the movie, you can now officially add another excellent villain to Hugo Weaving's already extensive list of fantastically memorable on-screen bad guys in the form of Johann Schmidt, better known as Red Skull. The HYDRA leader is ruthless, determined and ugly as sin — the perfect recipe for silver screen sadism.

Weaving is great, but I would split the film's best acting honors between Tommy Lee Jones and Toby Jones as Colonel Chester Phillips and Doctor Arnim Zola, respectively. The two aren't given the flashiest roles in the movie, but Tommy's loud performance and Toby's quiet one are two of the best takeaways from "Cap." Added bonus: the two share one-on-one screen time later in the film that is 100% scenery chewing. And maybe some steak chewing as well.

Chris Evans does a great job as Steve Rogers, first giving us a clever and resourceful underdog to root for in Skinny Steve, and later a heavily muscled and astonishingly athletic hero in the form of Cap. But the character is clearly at his best when he's allowed to beat down bad guys without pausing to take their names. Cap's action sequences are impossible to look away from, providing fans with several stand-and-cheer moments that mostly revolve around utilizing Cap's shield as a bludgeon or projectile. For whatever faults the film has (and it does have a few), Cap's action scenes are not among them.

"The First Avenger" stretches out over a long period of time — not just in terms of modern-day bookending, but also in the context of World War II itself. Cap is given several years to grow into his own as a superhero, making him one of the most confident and experienced of the Marvel Studios heroes thus far (save for Thor, who's been hammering gods since he was in Asgardian diapers). The period work itself is fantastic to behold, which is another reason why Cap's long expanse of time is such a delight: it means that if we get a "First Avenger" sequel, we're practically guaranteed a return to the front lines of World War II, if only in flashback form.

"Captain America" is the final piece of the puzzle before next summer's "Avengers." It's taken a long time to get to this point, but now, we're finally on the eve of release — or close enough, anyway. Cap doesn't disappoint on the long road towards Earth's Mightiest Heroes hitting the big screen, and seeing his first adventures in all their live-action glory is going to be absolutely essential to appreciating the whole of "Avengers." For that reason alone — but also for many others — "Captain America" is a must-see for superhero fans.

Emma Watson

21-year-old star actress who was just 9 when she appeared in her first Harry Potter film, finds it “embarrassing” to look back on her early performances because she has changed so much.

Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the series revolving around the world of wizardry, recently talked with UK newspaper, the Daily Telegraph, regarding her growth from her 2001 performance in ‘The Sorcerer’s Stone’ to the upcoming eighth and final film in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2:

“I look back at the early films and see that little girl, and I know it’s me, but it seems like a different person. It’s somewhat embarrassing to see myself go through all the awkward stages of growing up. So much time has passed and so much has happened that it seems that I don’t know her, but it’s interesting to see how the character has evolved and how much I have changed.”

Since completing filming on the epic series last year, Emma has moved on, studying at Brown University and signing up to appear in the upcoming movies, My Week with Marilyn and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, however, her cast mate Rupert Grint has admitted he’s found it a bit harder to move on.

Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, the best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione, said the following:

“I loved every minute of it, and I’m really going to miss it. I felt empty and a bit lost, and it’s taken me a while to accept it’s over.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which premiered in London last night, is slated to hit US theaters on July 15th.Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born 15 April 1990) is an English actress and model who rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger, one of three starring roles in the Harry Potter film series. Miss USA 2011 Winner Is Alyssa Campanella

Alyssa Campanella (born March 21, 1990) is a beauty pageant titleholder from the United States, who is the current titleholder and winner of the 2011 Miss USA pageant. She was also the first runner-up in the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant and represented California in the 2011 Miss USA pageant.
Alyssa Campanella may have been raised a Jersey girl, but she represented the Golden State to take home the crown in the Miss USA 2011 pageant (not to be confused with Miss America!), filmed at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas. Alyssa bested first runner up Miss Tennessee Ashley Durham, second runner up Miss Alabama Madeline Mitchell, and third runner up Miss Texas Ana Rodriguez. Alyssa, a full-time model was considered one of the judge’s favorites. In October 2006, Campanella was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2007 and represented her state at Miss Teen USA 2007, broadcast live from Pasadena, California on August 24, 2007, placing first runner up to eventual winner, Hilary Cruz of Colorado

This isn’t the end of the road for our winner — She gets to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant Sept. 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. That is, of course, if she complies with the very strict rules that apply to any woman holding the Miss USA title.

2010′s Miss America winner, Rima Fakih, 25, who presented Alyssa with her crown, was recently held under scrutiny after she appeared to have been out on an all-night bender. The prestigious title now means living under a microscope since the Tara Conner scandal. The 2006 winner was called out for drug abuse, underage drinking, and sexual indiscretion,

Hawthorne

I admit to being a bit torn over the TNT show “Hawthorne” (which just premiered its third season), and specifically, the marriage of Christina Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett-Smith) and Tom Wakefield (Michael Vartan).  Not so much because of the obvious interracial union (hey, you love who you love), but more so because of the ramifications of that union.

Ramifications off-screen, that is.

Outside of the fact that television is a powerful medium, one that has the ability to make, break, or simply reinforce stereotypes (you can’t tell me that shows such as “Julia,” “The Jeffersons” and “The Cosby Show” weren’t culturally significant), the Hawthorne-Wakefield marriage is striking in one simple aspect.

Casting.

Let’s face it, if you’re a black actor in Hollywood, it’s hard to get a job.  Many of the decision makers (network execs, casting directors, executive producers) are not people of color, and unless you’re someone like Shonda Rhimes, you’re probably not calling the shots in terms of who lands what role.

Story: Jada Pinkett-Smith talks 'Hawthorne' on 'The Talk'

That’s why whenever well-known black names get involved in entertainment (be it Quincy Jones producing “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Will and Jada creating “All of Us,” or Queen Latifah's muscle behind “Single Ladies”) it’s pretty important.

African American producers telling scripted stories that feature African American leads is a powerful (and not nearly widespread enough) formula for success.

So when I see Hawthorne walk down the aisle to meet Tom at the altar, I don’t cringe because it’s black-white love.  But I do turn my head to the side like a perplexed dog, curious to know the reason why in a show that’s produced by a popular and successful African American woman, showcasing black love on the small screen (something sorely needed in a world full of “Basketball Wives” drama) is not deemed important.

And why, as a result, a capable black actor is once again out of luck in getting cast on a popular show.

Bonnaroo

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, one of the world’s great rock events, kicks off its 10th annual gala on today in Manchester, TN. By the time it ends in the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning, some 170 artists will have performed including Arcade Fire, the Black Keys, Buffalo Springfield, Eminem, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Lil Wayne, Loretta Lynn, My Morning Jacket, Robert Plant and Band of Joy, and the Strokes. Vevo will stream video of many sets and NPR Music will do the same with audio. If you’ll be at Bonnaroo or you’re eager to hear the music on your computer, here are 10 acts you won’t want to miss. For the complete Bonnaroo schedule – and to sample recordings by almost everyone on the bill – go here.

Band of Skulls: The U.K. trio is still riding the success of their debut album “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey,” issued in 2009. It’s a hard-hitting collection of bluesy garage rock with ample hooks. For a taste of what they sound like on stage, check out on iTunes the live set they recorded last year at the studios of KCRW in Santa Monica.

Beirut: For the most part, Zach Condon’s project straddles the worlds of chamber pop and Eastern European folk with an emphasis on brass and clacking percussion. But in 2009, he and his band released a package with two EPs – one reflected the music of the southwest U.S. and Mexico, the other a blend of layered electro-pop and French cabaret. Beirut’s new two-sided single, out earlier this week, indicates a return to the very appealing previous sound.

Bootsy Collins & the Funk Universe: The great funk bassist has been in a sentimental mood lately – his new album “The Funk Capital of the World” revisits the influences of his lengthy career including his late brother Catfish, James Brown and George Clinton. But Collins always delivers a fun, high-energy show featuring extended versions of his Rubber Band and P-Funk hits.

Iron and Wine: Sam Beam is a superior singer-songwriter, and on his ’11 album “Kiss Each Other Clean,” he expanded his sonic pallet with rich overdubbed voices – sure to please fans of Brian Wilson’s vocal arrangements – as well as sax, swooshy synths and snappy percussion. It’s a wonderful album and it will be a treat to hear how Beam translates the music to a live setting.

Dr. John with the Original Meters and Allen Toussaint: The festival takes its name from Dr. John’s ’74 album “Desitively Bonnaroo,” and he’ll play its songs with a band of New Orleans’ legends who recorded it with him – Toussaint, who produced it and played keys; and the Meters’s members Zigaboo Modeliste, Art Neville, Leo Nocentelli and George Porter, a fabulous rhythm section that hasn’t worked together in about five years. It could be a fantastic set.

The Low Anthem: When the New Providence, RI, group played Bonnaroo in 2009, a powerful rainstorm with gale winds attacked the tent, all but drowning out their set. Their latest album, “Smart Flesh,” continues their traditional of thoughtful, emotional and highly musical Americana. If the weather cooperates, they’ll excel.

Shpongle: Specializing in downtempo electronica with an Eastern vibe, the U.K. duo creates a mellow ambiance that borders on a psychedelic experience. The music is rich and textured, featuring looped voices, flutes, guitars, sitars and other stringed instruments. It’s a mystery why they haven’t garnered the crossover audience they deserve.

Ben Sollee: On his new album “Inclusions,” the singer-cellist celebrates his many influences – there are references to bluegrass, brass bands, indie rock, New Orleans blues and chamber pop – and thanks to Sollee’s gifts as an arranger, it comes together beautifully. Audiences love his live shows and the new songs will spice up his set.

Twin Shadow: The working name of George Lewis Jr., Twin Shadow revives the post-punk dance music of New Order, Joy Division and the like. At the Coachella Music and Arts Festival earlier this year, he and his band played a spry, flawless set, drawing from “Forget,” their ’10 debut disk. There’s no reason to think Lewis and company won’t do it again: Lewis is an artist on the verge of big things.

Wavves: Imagine Green Day without the polish or if Nirvana had been based in San Diego instead of Seattle and you’ll get a sense of Nathan Williams’s trio. Their latest “King of the Beach” is fun, sloppy and charming

Meredith Vieira Says Goodbye After Five Years of Today

After five years cohosting the NBC morning show alongside Matt Lauer, Vieira delivered her last round of news this morning, in an emotional (and potentially viral) send-off that paid tribute to her half-decade on the show."It's a hard one," she said at the top of the show, which, despite being quite Vieira-heavy also managed to sprinkle in some actual news over the course of the first three hours. "Very mixed emotions. I know it's right, but it's hard."

Joined by her husband Richard Cohen and the family dog Jasper, the whole Today show crew rallied together to say goodbye to Vieira, paying tribute to her throughout the morning with retrospective clips and a fair share of surprises.

First up, a surprise performance by Carole King, who sang one of Vieira's favorite songs, "You've Got a Friend."

"I don't know what to say," an already emotional Vieira said.

Thankfully, Lauer, Al Roker, Ann Curry, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Natalie Morales and the rest of the faces of Today did.

"It's been a privilege working with you over these past five years. I know the folks at home have enjoyed starting their day with you as well," Lauer said, ramping up to the biggest surprise of the morning—a technically and creatively impressive, continuously shot group lip-sync, in which every single member of on- and off-air talent wore I [Heart] Meredith T-shirts and serenaded her with Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."

Needless to say, she was full of emotion throughout the massive effort, tearing up throughout the song, and proving her earlier point that what she'll miss most about the show is "the sense of family."

Before she signed off for good, she was treated to one final dose of sentiment.

Sitting out on the Plaza with Matt, Ann and Al, the trio one by one paid personal tribute to her.

"I kept coming up with jokes and sarcasm," Lauer told her, explaining his process of trying to think of what to say. "I realized it's because I'm afraid that if I really tell you how I feel, I'm going to turn into a blubbering idiot. But it's your last day, so a little blubbering.

"I adore you, and I have since the night we had dinner five and a half years ago. Your talent and your warmth and your generosity…your sense of humor I will remember most, you made me laugh every single day here, and I thank you for that. But the bottom line is this: I have marveled over the fact that someone who has talent as prodigious as yours, how small your ego is. You've taught us all how to be great teammates, and that's the gift that I'll take away from you. Thank you so much.

"I don't want to go now," Meredith laughed (and cried). "[But] I went upstairs and they changed the lock on my dressing room.

"Life is about changing. I love you all, you are the best bar none, it's such a family and it's really hard to leave a family, so I'm not going to say goodbye, at all…All of you I'm putting in my heart so I'll never ever lose you. I love you so much."

DASH Diet Guidelines

For dropping those extra pounds Weight Watchers ranked No. 1 in the ratings by U.S. News & World Report, followed closely by Jenny Craig and the Raw Food Diet, while the DASH diet was deemed best overall diet, with the Mediterranean Diet coming in second.

"Our analysis put hard numbers on the common-sense belief that no diet is ideal for everybody," the magazine said on its website.

"The DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet beat out 19 others, among them Atkins, Jenny Craig and Slim-Fast, to win the 'Best Diets Overall,'" it added.

Researchers looked and compiled profiles on 20 diets, which were reviewed by a panel of 22 experts in diet and nutrition, diabetes and heart disease.

The rankings were based on scores in seven categories -- short-term weight loss, long-term weight loss, easiness to follow, nutritional completeness, ability to prevent or manage diabetes and to manage heart disease.

Each diet was also judged in five categories including best overall diet, best commercial diet plan, best weight-loss, best diabetes diet and best heart-healthy diet.

DASH also came out first for the best diabetes diet, followed by the Mayo Clinic diet, while the Ornish Diet captured the top spot for heart-healthy diets with TLC (Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes) diet coming in second.

"Exercise gets serious attention in some diets and lip service in others, but the primary focus of a diet, after all, is food. Whether to exercise, how, and how much is a lifestyle decision beyond the scope of a mere diet," the magazine added.

About 34 percent of U.S. adults aged 20 and over are overweight and an equal number are obese, according to 2007-2008 figures from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
The DASH diet was never intended for teen girls, but that doesn't mean it's ineffective.

Originally created to treat adults with high blood pressure, the Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet is showing new promise in reducing weight gain in teenage girls. According to USA Today, girls whose diet most resembled DASH showed the smallest increase in body mass index (BMI) over 10 years in a new study.

They also recorded the lowest BMIs during the study's follow-up period.

The diet plan itself essentially cuts out red meat and many forms of carbohydrates, focusing on fruits, vegetables, lean meat and whole grains. According to DashDiet.org, the main focus of the plan is to reduce salt intake, which helps to reduce blood-pressure in older dieters.

The study followed 2,379 girls between the ages of 9 and 10, and tracked them for 10 years, according to the LA Times. While the participants were socioeconomically and geographically mixed, over half the girls in the study were black.

The study was especially important, the LA Times reported, because those who showed the best results, didn't even fulfill all of the DASH requirements. Even those in the 95th percentile had a higher than recommended sugar intake and did not necessarily eat the recommended number of servings of fruit per day, were they actually following the diet.

Net Interest Rates Vs. Gold

CPI - Consumer Price Index, an accepted measurement of inflation.

When the Fed Funds rate is below the CPI rate (Below zero on the chart) inflation tends to run.  When the Fed Funds is above the CPI, (Above zero on the chart) the Fed is fighting inflation.

So either the Fed is about to raise rates tremendously to fight inflation, or they are standing by and letting inflation run.  We are betting on the latter.

Jackson was originally selected by the New York Knicks in the first round of the 1987 NBA Draft (18th overall) and promptly captured NBA Rookie of the Year honors at the conclusion of the 1987-88 campaign. He est@blished a still-standing NBA record for[..]ists by a rookies in a single season (868) and played for five Hall of Fame coaches during his collegiate and professional careers (Lou Carnesecca, Lenny Wilkens, Jerry Sloan, Pat Riley and Larry Brown).

“After an extensive search and a great deal of consideration, we have come to the conclusion that Mark Jackson is the best coach for this team,” said Warriors’ General Manager Larry Riley. “He will bring a youthful and fresh approach to our team and the fact that he enjoyed a stellar playing career, where he served most of that time as the leader of some very successful teams, will prove invaluable in the long run. We were looking for a coach with leadership ability and a strong personality and believe Mark possesses those qualities. He’s very well respected in NBA circles, is a consummate professional and his knowledge and background will be an incredible[..]et for our team and organization.”

“We are tremendously excited about the addition of Mark Jackson as our new head coach,” said Warriors’ Owner Joe Lacob. “He epitomized leadership as a player in this league for 17 seasons and we think that characteristic – and many other positive traits – will translate very well into his coaching duties with our young team. He was a leader and a winner both on and off the floor in this league and we’re convinced that he is the right person to guide this team into the future and help us achieve the success that we are striving for as an organization.”

“I am really elated about this opportunity and I’m looking forward to the challenge of building the Warriors into a perennial contender,” said Jackson. “I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the organization during our meetings, beginning at the top with Joe Lacob and, of course, with Larry Riley, Bob Myers and Jerry West. I have sensed that Joe is committed to winning and building a team and a culture the right way. I think we all witnessed that with some of the recent front office additions as well and some of the other positive things that have been done in recent months. This is an incredible opportunity and I am honored and thank God that I have been chosen to be the next coach of the Warriors. The Bay Area has always had some of the best fans in the NBA and I look forward to being a part of that incredible atmosphere at Oracle Arena, along with my wife, my kids and my church family, who are thrilled as well.”

Father's Day 2011 may be memorabale for all human

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in many countries and on other days elsewhere. It complements Mother's Day, the celebration honoring mothers. On June 19, 1910, a Father's Day observance was celebrated through the efforts of Sonora Smart Dodd of Spokane, Washington. After listening to a church sermon at Spokane's Central Methodist Episcopal Church in 1909 about the newly recognized Mother's Day, Dodd felt strongly that fatherhood needed recognition, as well. She wanted a celebration that honored fathers like her own father, William Smart, a Civil War veteran who was left to raise his family alone when his wife died giving birth to their sixth child, when Sonora was 16 years old
Father's Day is observed on the third Sunday of June. It is a celebration of fathers and their contributions to their families and children.

Camille Grammer

Camille Grammer (née Donatacci; born September 2, 1964) is an American television personality starring in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Grammer first found fame as a dancer, model, and actress. After marrying Hollywood actor Kelsey Grammer in 1997, she worked as a producer and a writer for their company Grammnet Productions.
According to the paperwork, which was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on June 2, the reality star wants sole physical custody of their daughter Mason, 9, and son Jude, 6. Less than a month ago, on May 12, Kelsey also sought sole custody.

The papers claim that her Kelsey's filings were "done in order to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage" her.

According to the paperwork, Camille wants each party to have a month with the children in the summer instead of alternating weeks.

At the time of Kelsey's filing, a statement from Camille's lawyer called it "audacious" of Grammer to seek custody after leaving his family.

"A friend of Camille's speculated on the audaciousness of Kelsey's actions - to literally abandon his wife and children for a year, move 3,000 miles away, impregnate another woman when he was still married and then ask for custody? Camille is an amazing mother and the kids are where they belong and want - to be with her," Camille's attorney said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Kelsey's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com: "Any statement would be inappropriate. The filing speaks for itself."

The couple finalized their divorce in February. Kelsey, 56, and Camille, a 46-year-old former Playboy model who appears on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," married in 1997. She filed for divorce in July 2010.

Grammer later married Kayte Walsh, a 29-year-old British flight attendant, on stage at the Longacre Theatre in New York, where the actor starred in a revival of the musical "La Cage aux Folles."

Kelsey Grammer has been married three times before. He was married to dance instructor Doreen Alderman from 1982 to 1990 and they have one daughter, Spencer, who starred in the ABC Family comedy series "Greek". Grammer and former stripper Leigh-Anne Csuhany were married from 1992 to 1993 and have no children. During this time, he had a daughter, Greer, out of wedlock.

Aside from playing the title role of a radio therapist on "Frasier", a part he originated on the 1980s series "Cheers," Kelsey Grammer also starred on the show "Hank" in 2009, played Beast in the movie "X-Men: The Last Stand" and voices the psychopath Sideshow Bob on the animated sitcom "The Simpsons".

michaels

Speaking to the LA Times, he said: "Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with Michael [Bay], who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women.”

"Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It's summer. It's Michael's style. And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it. This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it."
LeBeouf continued: "When Mike would ask her to do specific things, there was no time for fluffy talk. We're on the run. And the one thing Mike lacks is tact. There's no time for, 'I would like you to just arch your back 70 degrees.'"

He went on the say that Fox’s replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who was named hottest woman by Maxim, feels more at ease being blockbuster eye candy status.

He said: “Rosie comes with this Victoria's Secret background, and she's comfortable with it … So, she can get down with Mike's way of working and it makes the whole set vibe very different."

I must say it’s a good thing that Fox is taking on the persona of a serious actor. Not someone who would “arch” her back on demand. Oh, by the way have you seen her Armani ad?

"We don't know from day to day what might happen," she says. "So why not enjoy life now? It's very precious, and anyone living with any kind of illness knows that. Health is fleeting, and you need to celebrate it while you still have it."Meredith Louise Vieira (born December 30, 1953) is an American journalist, television personality, and game show host. "It was being distorted, because it looked better to make it, 'Poor Meredith, she triumphs through it all,' but that wasn't the case," says Vieira, 57. Her husband, 67, would agree.

His reaction to the rumor? "Richard said, 'What is this? You never tend to me! You won't even get me a cup of coffee!' " jokes Vieira. "I said, 'I know! This scam is working!' But enough gets to be enough."
Still, her family did play a major role in her decision.
